Mini Turtles (borosilicate) - 3hr class

Type of glass used: Borosilicate/C.O.E. 33

This class is targeted towards students who are completely new to flameworking or students with some glass experience looking to increase their arsenal of skills.

In this class focusing on simple sculptural works, students will be taught the basics of borosilicate sculpting to create adorable mini turtles!

Students will learn the basics of sculpting borosilicate glass, with the addition of many techniques such as; stringer pulling, flame control, the use of puntils (glass handles), hot/cold seals and more.

Tools and materials are provided for the class. 

Due to the nature of glass, students will have to return to pick up their finished pieces after they have been annealed.
