Meditation-Spinner Ring Workshop

Meditation rings, also called spinner or fidget rings, feature one or more outer bands that rotate around a stationary inner band. Beyond their unique aesthetic appeal, these rings serve as a tool for promoting calmness, alleviating stress, and channelling nervous energy.

In this six-hour workshop, you create your own meditation ring using sterling silver with brass and copper embellishments. 

During this workshop, you will learn the following techniques:

• Using bench tools including hammers, pliers, jewellers’ saw, files, and flex shaft
• Soldering techniques using an oxygen-propane Gentec little torch
• Forming techniques using hammers, pliers, and dapping tools
• Adding texture and dimension to your piece
• Polishing and finishing metal 

This workshop includes all the materials needed to make one silver ring with copper and/or brass spinner bands. Sterling silver spinner bands can be added for an additional cost of $10-15.
