Enamelling on Copper - 3hr class

In this 3-hour class, students will learn the basics of enamelling on copper. They will learn how to sift the enamels onto a copper blank and melt the enamel using a soft flame on an oxygen/propane torch. Once the counter-enamelling is in place, students will learn about pickling for cleaning fire-scale before working on flame firing the second side of their pieces. Students can choose from over 20 beautiful opaque or transparent colours to create vibrant earrings and a pendant.
The teacher will offer work in progress demonstrations as well as technical tips and tricks. Students will be guided through every step!
Tools and materials are provided for the class (including copper blanks, ear wires and jump rings for your project)
