Archeologists use the word fibula to describe what we would now call a brooch or a pin. The fibula has been made into a variety of shapes, however originally it was based on the safety pin concept and had the practical function of fastening clothing.
In this class you will learn to manipulate copper wire into various forms to create a finished shawl pin. Glass beads can be incorporated into your design.
The teacher will offer work in progress demonstrations as well as technical tips and tricks. Students will be expertly guided through every step!
