Glass Casting From a Clay Relief - 6 week session, 2.5 hours/week
Students will learn a traditional approach to mould-making. The teacher will direct students through the process of sculpting a clay relief and fabricating a one-part open faced mould. Students will learn the techniques to produce a one-off unique cast object in glass. Once the cast is completed, we will cover a range of cold-working, finishing and polishing techniques to finish your art object. This course is for students of all skill levels.
