March 29th, 2022

With Ontario gradually easing covid restrictions, we are returning to a regular schedule for classes, torchtime and gallery hours. Although mask mandates were lifted on March 21st, we encourage every participant to wear a mask for the duration of their studio visit.

January 24, 2022

Loretta Studios will resume in person teaching on February 1st with a reduced capacity of 2-4 students per class. Our COVID safety protocols remain in place.

January 2022 Update

On January 3rd, the Ontario Government announced that we are returning to a modified version of Step 2 of the Roadmap to Reopen until at least January 26th. This means that Loretta Studios is unable to provide in-person instruction and will delay the start of the Winter 2022 Class Session. We hope to resume classes the week of January 31, 2022.
Monthly renters and torch time or cold working clients can still access the studio, however we will be at a limited capacity. The gallery will remain open to the public on Saturday afternoons with limited capacity.
As always, proper mask wearing remains a necessity when in the studio.
As regulations are ever changing, we will keep up to date and communicate any further changes.
Thank you all for your understanding and support.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to let us know.

COVID safety protocols @ Loretta

Loretta Studios and Gallery is taking extra precautions due to the 2019-2021 outbreak of the novel Coronavirus (COVID19), such as enhanced ventilation and sanitation/disinfecting procedures and health review in compliance with the Ottawa Public Health recommendations.

Symptoms of COVID19 infection include (but are not limited to): fever, fatigue, dry cough, shortness of breath, body aches, loss of smell or taste, headaches, a sore throat and a runny nose. If you are exhibiting any of these symptoms, please stay home.

We require that every guest wear a mask for the duration of their studio visit. Masks must cover both the mouth and nose at all times.

Our classes will have no more than 4 students in them so that we can ensure a safe distance between you. Fewer students also means that you will have plenty of individual attention from the teacher!

For any class involving glass blowing (blown beads, borosilicate hollow work, ... ) students will be provided with a specialized mask and a personal blow hose.

PLEASE NOTE: Our classes are open only to people who are fully vaccinated against covid-19. Thank you for your consideration and understanding.
